This digital archive is a community-driven project dedicated to Boka, the resident cat of Fergusson College, Pune. This policy outlines our commitment to privacy, ethical documentation, and animal welfare.

1. Ethical Conduct & Animal Welfare

Boka is a sentient being and a resident of the Fergusson College campus. He is not a public exhibit or a prop for social media.

Users are strictly advised not to disturb, wake, or harass Boka for the purpose of taking photographs. Submissions that appear to show the animal in distress or forced positions will be rejected immediately.

By submitting photographs or stories via the official Google Form, you represent and warrant that:

We respect the privacy of our students and contributors. If you have previously submitted content and now wish for it to be removed from the archive, please contact the administrator.

Requests for removal will be processed within 5-7 business days. Please include the specific image description or story title in your request.

4. Non-Commercial Clause

This website is strictly non-monetized. We do not sell merchandise, run advertisements, or use Boka’s likeness for any form of commercial gain. This platform exists solely for sentimental and historical preservation within the Fergusson community.

5. Data Privacy

The personal information collected is used solely for attribution, and is completely optional. We do not share email addresses or contact details with third parties. Your data is stored securely via Google Workspace and is accessible only to the site moderators.
